Pippin
 I saw this photo labeled ‘Bedtime Treat’ and instantly lost all self-control. One tiny fuzzy face and a snack… and now here we are building an entire chinchilla empire because of him. Color: Hetero Beige — warm brown coat, creamy belly, and freckled ears that could win an award. Birthday: February 14, 2022 — because he was clearly meant to be loved. Gotcha Day: October 28, 2025 ⸻ Pippin’s Story Pippin came to us without much history and no official birth record — just the words “a few years old.” So we gave him a birthday worthy of his personality: Valentine’s Day 2022. From the moment he arrived, it was obvious he was something special. A little shy, a little uncertain… and then suddenly cuddly, curious, and silly all at once. Pippin is the chin who reminded us how magical these little fluffballs really are — and why we wanted to return to the chinchilla world after so many years away. He’s the heart of Setareh Chinchillas and the inspiration behind our small-batch sprinkles.  Personality Soft, gentle, and still learning the ropes of being a spoiled house chin. He’s a little nervous with new sounds, but he loves routine, loves his food, and loves being talked to like a tiny furry prince. Pippin believes: • Every snack is for him • Hay should be arranged just so • Mom should open the cage if she walks by • Dust bath time is the best time We don’t disagree. ⸻ Favorite Treats Bee pollen, natural herb sprinkles, rolled oats, and… honestly? Pippin hasn’t met a sprinkle he didn’t like. He believes they all belong to him.  Fun Fact We catch him moving his enrichment toys to “his” preferred corner of the cage — even if we move them back every night. Pippin says he’s the decorator here, not us. ⸻ What Pippin Means To Us Pippin is the reason Setareh Chinchillas exists. He sparked the passion, inspired the blends, and reminded us how joyful, goofy, and full of personality chinchillas are. Because of him, we’re building a home, a brand, and a space where chinchillas matter — where they are loved, respected, and understood. And Pippin approves of this message.
